On Site Service Terms and Conditions Services may be denied and a $100 cancellation charge will be assessed if a Geeks On Site agent arrives at the scheduled service time and determines that no adult is present or that the Geeks On Site does not reasonably have the cooperation, appropriate access, or safe working area. A safe working environment, working space and electrical power must be privided. A person of a minimum age of 18 years old must be present when services are provided by Geeks On Site. Geeks On Site techs must receive access to your residence, full access to the computer or product(s) to be serviced, your cooperation and consent to enter your residence or business. Geeks On Site may refrain from providing any services on the basis that the minimum system requirements are not met or, the technical needs or other requirements are abnormal or extensive as reasonably determined by Geeks On Site. Geeks On Site will NOT back up any data on your computer or product unless specifically requested by the client to do so. It is client’s responsibility to back-up the data, software, information or other files stored on your computer(s) or product(s), prior to requesting service from Geeks On Site. Geeks On Site may use tools or software it deems necessary to repair your computer. This may also include additional be done to obtain additional technology services. During software installations, Geeks On Site may accept End User License Agreements on your behalf. Parts and other software failures due in part to user alterations or modifications are not covered by the Geeks On Site. Labor Warranty: Geeks On Site guarantees services provided to you at your home or business for 14 days; however, for repairs necessitated by a virus or spyware, the 14-day warranty is only valid if the antivirus and antispyware protection for your product is installed or updated during the repair or before you again connect to the Internet. If there is a problem with the service provided to you at the Geeks On Site store and if you notify us at 1 888 400 Geek within the 14-day time period, Geeks On Site will work to remedy your original problem quickly. Parts and Software Warranty: Product part warranty is held under the original manufacturer and their warranty. Software sold under the Geeks On Site are covered by the publisher/manufacturer of that software and their warranty. Product Pick-Up by Geeks On Site: If Geeks On Site picks up your product for the purpose of performing a requested service(s) at a Geeks On Site location and any damage or loss occurs with respect to your product while in Geeks On Site's possession or control, regardless of causation or fault, you are only entitled to replacement of the product. Limitation of Remedy: To the extent permitted by law, you agree that Geeks On Site's total liability for damages related to its services is limited to the total amount you pay for the services, and you release Geeks On Site from liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Geeks On Site IS NOT LIABLE FOR CORRUPTION, LOSS OR ALTERATION OF ANY DATA OR LOSS OF ANY MEDIA FROM YOUR COMPUTERS(S) OR PRODUCT(S). |
